Fall 2015 BOG Meeting Minutes

1. Webmaster report and needs (Eddie Fiorelli via white paper)
 It was agreed to update the server contract for
36 months which will cost $359
 We should look for people within the CRS that could help with upgrading the CRS website with
Responsive Design (making the site look good on cell phones as well as computers). Michel and
Kris will take the lead on this.
 It was agreed that the CRS web site should add an E commerce landing page with images and links
to the appropriate sales pages on the event web sites.

2. Press Liaison Report (Erik Christiansen)
 It was agreed to seek people who would like to do a post event article with Erik’s help.
 We will again do the PR cards (Erik will take the action).
3. Sponsorship Liaison Report (Stacey Hamblin)
 Work on the 2016 Rulebook Ads are well underway.

4. BOG Officers for 2016 (Tony Chavez)
 Tony will be stepping down as Director so we will need a new director for 2016.
 Jen would like us to look for a new Stock Class Chairman for 2016.
 Eddie is willing to continue as webmaster but thinks it would be good to look for someone to take it over
for the future.
 Stacey was voted in as the Sponsor Liaison.

5. Rulebook plans (Mike Gibeault)
 We will again print 500 rulebooks (same as 2015)
 Timeline for ad copy and printing (Ad copy: Dec 18 cover, Jan 1 inside)
 Michel will do the CRS android app.
 Kris will do the graphics for the cover.
 Tony will update the average costs in the “Vehicle Eligibility” section.
 We will make a PDF version of the rulebook (with the ads), with the intention of making it available for
download from the website (Mike & Michel will take the action).
 We will put the Ads for the events in the rulebook in the order that the events occur during the year.

6. Banquet plans (Tony Chavez & Christine Marciniak )
 Jan 23 same location as last year.
 $35 for early sign up and $40 for normal sign up.
 Christine will update the text for the online entry form.

7. CRS leadership succession plan / knowledge transfer (Brian Hamblin)
 We should think about how best to document the processes used by major CRS functions.
 It was agreed to document the assets of the CRS, including all equipment, bank account etc. (Mike &
Paula’s action)
 Mike will get the signature cards for the bank updated with current people.
8. Rally Championship Review
 Due to the number of CRS 5 legal cars running during 2015, it was decided to reinstate CRS 5. There
was also general agreement that we should try to keep classes with minimal participation available as
long as possible, however no guidelines or rules were established at this time.
 To be eligible for year end awards CRS members will be required to finish at least one event.

9. CRS Rally Calendar for 2016
 The 2016 Rally Calendar (see below) was reviewed and approved, including 11 events over 6 weekends.
The Frazier Mtn Rally (a one day C2 event) organiz ed by Brian and Stacey Hamblin was added to the
championship for 2016.

10. Rally Equipment manager report and needs (Paula Gibeault)
 It was decided to get 2 CRS branded banners that are the length of the CRS trailer. (Brian & Mike will
take the action)
 Stacey will pursue getting reflective worker vests with CRS branding and provide feedback to the BOG.

11. RallyCross Championship Review (Carol Janes)
 It was decided to build a CRS RX Facebook Page to act as a place to keep RX competitors up to date
with any changes that might take place in the CRS RX program. (Carol & Kris will take the action).
